Hello and Welcome to Coffee High School!

The 2018-19 school year is here! We are looking forward to the start of another school year. Every school year we have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people. As educators, we have a chance to plant “good seeds.” Most of the time we never know if the seeds we plant will fully blossom; however, we must continue to sow these seeds. One man plants, another waters, and another gets the increase. None of us can totally predict the future of young people because they will surprise you. So, let’s be diligent seed planters.
Let’s recap the 2017-18 school year. Simply stated, 2017-2018 by almost any measure was the best year in the history of Coffee High School. We had a record number of graduates, record number of Zell Miller Scholarship recipients, and a record number of dual enrollment students. Coffee High School athletics experienced great success during the 2017-18 school year as well. Boys and girls basketball, tennis, and swimming all won region championships and advanced deep into the state playoffs. Coffee High School also experienced the excitement of playing for the State Championship in football. Among extracurricular and co-curricular activities, students gained attention at regional, state, and national levels. This success was directly attributable to the dedication and hard work of our professional staff. We must also commend our great students, dedicated parents, and supportive community.
As we prepare to embark on another school year, let us remember the life and legacy of one of our family members. Mrs. Denise Fountain gave many years of loyal service to the Coffee County School System.  Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Let’s not grow weary as we continue to do great things at Coffee High School. We must continue to work together to build positive relationships through collaboration, teamwork, and mutual respect. Remember that great thinking and accomplishments occur in groups. We would do well to follow the sage advice of an old African proverb: “If you wish to go fast, go alone; if you wish to go far, go together.”

It’s Great to be a TROJAN!
